Sep 06, 2020     Rear Wing Rib spacing issue - (2 hours)       Category: Wings
Hiya Roger,
So, I'm following the instructions in the assembly guide, plus Homebuild Help video on wings, plus Homebuilt Help video on 601XL upgrade (where you mess with the nose ribs).

I notice that the rear rib rises just a little above the spar cap (6W11-9 above 6W11-1). I assume that this is ok (since it's marked as .5mm in the plans) and i'll be riveting to the spar cap anyways, thus pressing it down? Is there a need/reason for me to have the 0.25 skin insert in there since the spar cap already has a rise above the spar top? Is the spar cap installed up a little too high? Won't this have me place my nose-rib a little high if I still use the 2 pieces of 0.25 for spacing, as directed?
